so i have a PC (not sure how old it is but its on windows 8)

i have a samsung 27" monitor and an old BenQ monitor thats ancient that im just using for now.'

i use VGA cables for the BenQ because it doesnt have HDMI
and HDMI for the samsung monitor

when i have both plugged in at the same time only the benQ turns on and becomes the main monitor and the computer doesnt even recognize the SAmsung monitor

so i unplug the BenQ and restart the computer and it recognizes my Samsung as my BenQ?

tried switching the HDMI to VGA on the samsung and nothing.

ive updated all my drivers and still not working.

will reward anyone he leads to a fix.

Use an active adapter to switch the vga to w/e signal you prefer, hdmi / dp.
a passive adapter should suffice for vga to dvi/dvi+.

Assuming your settings are correct and your not being a dolt about this.

Have you made sure you have both displays active from the OS (win + p). Make sure it's on duplicate or extend (my preferred), not just first or second screen.

run DDU in safe mode and remove current driver then update the driver to w/e version you had.
