So basically i bought a OEM key on ebay i can't seem to update my windows 10 i've never had trouble with those kind of keys

Whenever i try to update it, it gives me

2018-03 cumulative update for windows 10 version 1709 for x-64 based systems (kb4088776) - error 0x800f081f

Run regedit.exe

Go into RegEdit and find the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU folder.
DoubleClick on UseWUServer(UseWindowsUpdateServer) and change the value to 0.

If the value is already 0 this fix may not work for you. You need to restart afterwards.
