OK I don't want to spend much on it as I don't game a lot. I will probably only play league of legends most of the time and some RPG games like final fantasy etc. And because of work I probably barely have time to play an hour or less a day.
Mostly I will be spending time on it to do some android development using android studio too and maybe I will connect a bigger TV to it to watch movies sometimes.
but I don't want a PC that will be slow in the upcoming few years so anything that can last 3-5 years will be cool

I was thinking about the i5 8400 with the new mobos B360 or something let me know if that's good for me or not and if someone can assemble the parts for me that would be super cool (the cheaper the better :P)

side fact: one of my friends is offering me his build that he purchased 2 years ago for free, he says its i5 with 32 GB ram and 250 GB SSD that he built for graphics editing and stuff. Idk the details but is a 2 year old build good enough to meet my requirements? Or brand new 8400 will be better?

The two year old build should be fine, but more details about it would help.

yeah I am curious about it too I asked him about it he said he will let me know about it when he gets home from his trip which is taking like forever. How much will a build cost anyway with my requirements?

It's easiest for us if you fill this out...

Budget:
More specific use (what games, what programs):
Planned time until purchase:
Do you need an Operating System?:
Do you have any specific preferred components?:
Do you need a sound or wireless card?:
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?:
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?:
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs):

Any i5 from the last few years will still do just fine. Just make sure it has sufficient hard drive space and a dedicated graphics card and you will be fine.
