When I woke up, I heard my computer making a humming sound. Thought it wasn’t anything crazy, just needed to be cleaned from dust. So I ate and came back to the sound being much louder. Almost like a motorcycle engine reving outside the house loud. I unplugged everything and opened the side panel and checked for something possibly stuck in a fan. Nothing was.

Let it sit for a bit and turned back on and it immediately went to the loud humming buzzing sound as described previously. It sounded almost like it came from the power supply, but not 100% sure on that. The GPU is right above that, so maybe could have been that..?

Any thought as to what it could be? I contacted the company of where my brother bought it to see if I can get help. Have a video of it to, but too lazy to upload it. Just took it to send to my brother.

Sounds like the bearings in one of your fans.

Anything rubbing against one of the fans? Nice pc BTW.

Nothing rubbing against the fans and when I turn it off, the fans are still spinning (for a few seconds) but the sound stops immediately

You can use a wooden dowel rod, like a stethoscope. While the PC is running, touch one end to your ear, then the other end to parts of the chassis, near each fan.
Whichever one is giving the problem will be easy to locate this way.

Great idea. Test for the vibrations.

Hmm. Got a pencil or something long and cylindrical? Maybe a toilet paper roll or a paper towel roll?

Oh a pencil might work. I have a 3 foot long 1”x3” piece of wood too 😂

However, I don’t know where I’d put it. Like what part is the chassis?

Any metal or plastic part, near the fan(s). Whichever fan is making the noise will definitely sound louder, way louder.

I would probably use the 3 foot 1x3. The wood transfers the sound very well. I'm guessing it is the power supply fan, but can't be sure till you isolate the noise.
You can touch it to the sides of the fans, the shroud, as well. Just make sure you don't touch the moving fan blades.
