My sister just purchased a new laptop and it’s surprisingly slow for being an i7, 8gb ram, win 10.

It seems to be overloaded with random unnecessary programs which brings me to this post.

Is there any way to remove all of this at once and leave the computer with the basics or am I stuck going through each and every one on the laptop and removing one by one?

It’s a brand new laptop, wouldn’t reformatting it essentially keep it the same?
I thought since the software was preloaded on the pc it would remain after a reformat.

If you grab the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool USB image, you can boot to that and do a wipe and install of the vanilla version of Win10, without all the OEM shit on there.

Go here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Choose the "Create Windows 10 Installation Media" option
