https://www.pcworld.com/article/3196807/windows/what-to-do-if-windows-10-control-panel-disappears-from-the-winx-power-user-menu.html

You have to do all this crap if you want your Power User Menu to have the Control Panel app again instead of having the Settings app.

I really miss the days of XP - Windows 7 and crap when I had control over my PC and didn't have to jump through loops or go searching for necessary tools.

Only good thing Windows 10 is good for, is WSL. Use it for development with Crystal-lang

Other than that, W7 64-bit > all

We still use win 7 at work. And most of our PC's have 2500k's, it's very nostalgic lol

Well you could just navigate to: C:\Windows\System32\control.exe

Right click control.exe and choose: Send to desktop (create shortcut). Then I would think you could move/pin the shortcut w/e you wanted.

Damn I need a job there. I know Windows 7 so well and that 2500k is the shit! Jealous.

Not very often. I just popped open the menu and typed control panel and it popped right up. This thread is because I'm miffed Microsoft keeps hiding things and changing stuff. Though start menu search is hella useful and refined. +2 for Microsoft on that end.

Press Super Key and type control panel is hella easy too. :P

Right click menu is same as super key + X. It opens the power menu.
