Hi guys,

2013 MacBook Pro late edition i5 2.4GHZ, 8gb ram, 250 gb SSD.
Running High Sierra OS.

Didn't have an issue in Mavericks but as soon as High Sierra was loaded this problem has occurred.
What I've done;
Cleared NRAM, SMC reset, deleted partition, reformatted it, fresh install High Sierra, network utility test.
Network utility test has given me one code: VFD002 (Display issue)

Googled the solutions which narrowed it down to IO connector board. Makes sense if the screen freezes/becomes unresponsive and I'm rendered useless but then why didn't this occur in Mavericks?
Googled more, they said it's an issue with High Sierra but when will it be patched?

Has anyone had this problem? Trying to narrow down to exactly what it is before I spend more money/take shots in the dark. I don't want to make a $20.00 repair turn into $200.00.
Can answer any questions etc.

Thanks for reading!

Revert back... Easy fix.
I mean high Sierra isn't mandatory.

Alright I'll try this, (I bought this from a guy who said Mavericks ran fine but as soon as High Sierra was installed it went haywire)
Just trying to figure out if the error code means anything..?

if you can reach this dude he's your best bet,

https://forums.d2jsp.org/user.php?i=434953

I haven't done much with macs since those brightly coloured all in ones with the tiny mouse.
He works for mac and has pretty much every cert they offer under his belt.

I just feel if it worked before and doesn't now you can simply resolve by going back unless you absolutely need High Sierra.
