Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Technology
- 2 x DDR3 DIMM Slots
- Supports DDR3 2400+(OC)/2133(OC)/1866(OC)/1600/1333/1066 non-ECC, un-buffered memory

Both are support as to if they are on the QVL thats another case.
If you can find 1600+ at same price point go that route.

Better figure out why your APU is so hot, before worrying about anything else.

QVL means qualified vendors list.
Its RAM thats been tested and verified to work.

More speed usually means more voltage.
Its technically over clocked ram once you pass 1600 on ddr3.
The kits been tested to run at those speeds and added voltage though.

Now depending on the controller you "MAY" have to dial back your cpu overclock but I doubt your oc'ing high
enough for it to matter. Even then you can still set it to a lower speed/timing to compensate.

Once again though this is a really low chance that it'll matter, your board does support 1.65v memory though.
