Yea but ain’t some sets better then others, I once had kraken 7.1
Now got hyperx, and they no near the kraken

7.1 in headphones is a gimmick like curved tv's.

99% of 7.1 headsets are just 2.0 with emulation software.

Which is easy to add to almost any setup.

why, you can clearly hear sounds of all sides...helps alot

Google it, any solid set of good headphones will be far better then any 5.1/7.1 set even if it was true 5.1/7.1 with several small speakers.
Plus theres the second issue where most games don't support TRUE surround sound and are designed for 2.1 with emulation in mind.
