depends whats causing the static in the mic lol. i doubt it? unless something is causing interference within your case?

currently using front ports, my backports have my speakers on them

Just unplug your speakers form the rear and test it in the back, then at least you know if it's just the case/front audio connectors.

did you test the back ports yet with headphones?

will tell us couple things headphones or the case is the problem

and could easily be solved with headphone speaker switch for less than 20 bucks unless you want to pay nothing and just unplug and plug in which ever you want to use too
