I like to think somewhere there's an automotive help forum where people post pictures of their steering wheel while simply asking why their car won't start.

I would find out why you have 10GB of RAM. That's not right. Like if you added a 2GB stick to an 8GB set...take the 2GB stick out.
You should have like 8GB total, or 16GB total...etc.

Go into the BIOS and there should be a setting on the last tab, something like... Restore Defaults

The 8GB set of RAM should be in the 1st and the 3rd slots, counting away, to the right from the CPU. The BLACK slots. IF the CPU cooler is in the way, then try the BLUE slots.

/e When you added the 2GB stick, you probably just confused the BIOS. Now you need to un-confuse it.

/e If you can't get into the BIOS. Then turn the computer OFF. There is a tiny button on the back of the motherboard (outside the case). That is the Clear CMOS button. Just press it and let it go. The computer should boot. (as per your motherboard manual).

There are other things which could cause the computer to freeze.

Too much heat when "using" the comp.
Power supply might be crapping out.
Windows or a driver could be corrupt.
Infection.
Some other component dying.

Well have you ever blown the dust out (heat).

How long has Windows 10 been on there (reinstall maybe)

What is make and model of power supply?

You could run the free ESET online scanner (infection)

You could open a command prompt, As Admin, and run the command sfc /scannow (space between sfc and /scannow)
SFC is Windows built in System File Checker. It checks for Windows file corruption.

As for the vid card driver...

DDU Instructions - Nvidia/AMD
1. Get this program, here: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/ ...get the latest version, and save it to your desktop.
2. Get your vid card driver here, use the Manual Search: Nvidia: http://www.geforce.com/drivers ...or AMD: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download ...save this to your desktop.
3. Run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) choose: Nvidia or AMD, then choose the "Highly Recommend Option", and just do what it tells you. If it wants to go into "Safe Mode", let it.
4. After it's done and comp has rebooted to normal mode, just double click the Nvidia or AMD driver ( that you saved to your desktop in step #2) ...to install. If it want's to reboot, let it.

/e Absolute max. temp for the CPU as shown in Speccy is 62C.

/ee Depending on what Windows 10 build you have, there were some funky Windows updates in January, that were supposed to have been fixed in late February.
Unlike the older Windows... Microsoft doesn't roll out the updates all at the same time. If you happen to be on the slow cycle, you may be in between the screwed up updates and the fixed ones.
