around the internet e.g. facebook on first screen, the video fps break in. the video stutters very badly if i scroll like a madman

is that lack of core power or gpu power?

core is a i7 6700, gpu is a gtx 960

rest: 512gig ssd, 16gb ram ddr4, screen 1 is powered by a hdmi, screen 2 by usb c to hdmi port. both screens are 27" full hd, no 4k.

2x 27" screens are a bit much for a GTX 960.

Finally somebody who gets it :hail:

it's a common misconception resolution is what has an impact on gpu utilization, 30 inches 720p is a lot more demanding than even 12 inches 1080p, how u think the switch runs so well off the dock? OP, if u want that many inches on a gtx 960 consider letterboxing to a lower square inch resolution (you can place sticky notes on the monitor where there's no picture to hide them).

For over 50 inches between 2 Full HD monitors you would need at least a 1070 ti, maybe higher if you wanted to use demanding applications like gmail.

Yeah, but these days that can be very expensive. Maybe look around for a used GTX 960, then you can run SLI.

All the vid card prices are insane right now. All the crypto-currency miners, bought them all up.

recommend a 1080 ti for optimal flash performance and smoothly running youtube videos at 27"
