I need to buy a new router cause mine blow it was a cheap 40 $ one,

i live in an appartement and the only thing the wifi is going to be used on its the xbox to watch netflix and my cellphone
otherwise i'm gaming with ethernet cable pluged in

need something that wont be shitty and buffer every 10 sec

And my internet connection is 15down / 10 up

Check your speeds at modem.
If you're only noticing a drop on Xbox, just buy a long ethernet cable and run hard wired to xbox. Mobile data for phone.

my speed at the modem and the router is the same, maybe i'll just need to buy better antenna

and i dont think my speed have something to do with the shitty connection lol, on ethernet cable, i can game download at the same time without any problem

It might not be the actual advertised speed that is too slow, it may just be your Internet Provider (the company itself).
15/10 internet is sort of slow, but it should still work without problems, IF the company you get the internet from provides that speed all the time.

Some companies will advertise a speed but may not always provide that speed.
I have no idea what country you live in or who your Internet Provider is, but you should be able to check online and see how others feel about that company.



/e Another possibility is that you may be trying to do too much all at the same time, for a 15/10 connection.

We're not trying to avoid recommending a router, we just want to make sure that the router IS the problem. I have a medium speed connection, 50/50 and some Youtube videos for example, will buffer for me. The problem in that case is on the other end, not on my end.
