So theres a monoprice 4k monitor for only $250 on sale. is 27 in too small for 4k? i feel like it really is too small of a screen... but also would it scale well? like how 1080p on a 27in scales horribly?

and wtf is active hdr lol? is this really hdr? i bet it just doesnt get bright enough for real hdr?

dont really want it for 4k gaming. i have a 270x amd card and pretty sure i cant do any game in 4k. just sort of want it for 4k movies and cause id assume theres some upscaling in the monitor itself? for minor improvement over my 1440p qnix i have now?

i do have a 4k tv that i use, but sometimes may want to watch on desktops monitor

I would just save your money. 1440p is more than dense enough at 27"
