Okay so I've had my computer 5 years.
The CPU finally decided to start getting to got 90+C and kept shutting down.

Granted I've only dusted it once or twice a year and never put new thermal paste on, I've been a noob at computers until the passed few days been watching videos like crazy to get ready to build a new one, it's due.

So I took the computer all the way apart and thoroughly cleaned it.
I checked the pins, cables, etc and everything was in tact.

I boot it up all fans work, case fan, cpu fan, the dual gfx card fans, and the psu fans, they all work.

The motherboard has a green light, it doesn't beep when it starts, everything should be good.

Yet I have no display and I don't know why?

Yes I checked for dust, the ram is mounted and the gpu is mounted both correctly and thoroughly, I even tried both gpu slots and both ram slots 1/3 And 2/4.

Still no display. Is it possible some part is faulty even though it does good? I think it's about time I upgrade anyway, literally 5 years old next month, but I just don't understand why it doesn't display.

I want to give it to my lil cousin to use but I want it to work.

Thanks!!

I must be getting old. I thought I answered this today???

Make 100% sure there is no dust in the vid card or RAM slots. I mean a pile of dust no bigger than a pencil point size.
Other than that, just triple check all your connections.

Don't for get the obvious things, like power cables to the vid card (if needed), or monitor is unplugged, or cable from comp to monitor is loose...etc.

Checked connections stared at it for a good 10 minutes, the inside looks brand new inside it's so clean and cable management.

Gpu/ram is mounted fully, no dust, all connections are in.

Fans all work, turns on looks good, still no display, I even tried different monitors and triple checked those connectors, and even moved it to a diff room to different plugs

do u run dual gtx cards? like in 2 gpu's? or does the card have 2 fans?

try take out your gpu/gpu's and put it back in and see if it works.. maybe try it a couple of times and theck for dust on the cards connection pins and in the gpu express slot

if this doesnt work the mb/cpu is probably toast

I recently had this issue that sounds exactly like yours. Ended up being a fried motherboard. The lights fans and pump turned on but that was it.

Guessing the cpu was fried from overheating and shutting off before I decided to clean out the computer, who knows could have zapped and fried the MoBo too. Not gonna pay to get it checked out nor do I have extra parts to do so, so on to a new computer once GPUs come back to stock...cripes

Well you can probably reuse the vid card(s) that you have now.

Plug monitor into Mobo
Hold delete when starting it up
