crossblade ranger fm2+ board
amd 5800b apu
corsair 1000 gold psu
mint cell riser usb 3.0
rx 580s gpu

ive tested each riser individually, they work fine.

I plug in 2 gpus to 2 risers, system boots to bios.

I plug in the 3 riser/gpu I get error code 0d

I clear cmos and reboot system boots with no display no matter what I do.

all 3 cards will run on the board itself just fine with no issues,
the issue is when I try to run them on the 3 risers, the system wont post bios ect.

anyone have any idea what the issue could be, it only hangs up when I try to run all 3 on the risers, individually they work fine and post. im lost here.

yea they are powered, ive tested each individual riser seperatly, it works fine.

I run 2 gpus/2 risers everything is fine.

I run 3 gpus/3 risers I get the 0d code on the motherboard, this happens no matter which configuration or riser I use, once I try to boot with the 3, it fails to post.

each individual card works separately. on each riser. just for some reason trying to boot on the 3 it does nothing.

I've been reading on the ASUS forums...

Quite a few people get this 0D error. The solutions that seem to work the best (in order)are:

Use the Reset and Power buttons on the motherboard a few times. <--- This seems to have the best results.
Clear the CMOS
Update the BIOS.

/e The error code 0D is really just a place holder for future error messages. It, by itself means nothing. People have been getting the 0D error for things related to grfx cards, SSDs and HDDs, even RAM sticks.

The best solution seems to be that if you reboot the comp from the motherboard Reset and Start buttons a few times...then the motherboard will eventually "get it together" and boot properly.

See my edit above.

/e Hook all 3 vid cards up...and try the Reset and Power switches on the motherboard, a few times. Apparently, doing this will eventually allow the comp to boot properly.

Like: Power on...if no screen then Reset. Rinse and repeat a few times. Just make sure to use the motherboard Power and reset switches and not the case ones.

Other things...

Don't use display port.

Use HDMI or DVI for the monitor that you want to see the images on. Iirc the software will assign the highest priority to the HDMI port on the vid card. Meaning it will be selected as the Primary Display.

/ee If none of this helps...I would talk to this guy...

Set PCi lanes to gen2
Personally, I've always used on board gfx. Unplug all gpus until you get that working.

Section 3.6.4 of bios manual.
Igfx multi monitor = disabled
Primary video device = igpu
Intergrated graphics = force
Pciex16/x8_1 = force 8x (this is the setting borking 3 cards, x16 makes only 2 slots usable with other slots disabled
