Grandma has the best hearing in the world, I was keeping her up at night.
She told me to put the desktop in the garage...
I got a laptop because the keyboard is very quiet, and the wireless mouse clicking is also very Quiet.

The laptop is fast, but is not meant for gaming. ( 512MB dedicated graphics )
I don't like those Super tiny half sized arrow keys for up and down...
The wireless mouse, i will probably use for now b/c its Quiet, but its like the smallest mouse in the world...

Google says the razer blackwidow stealth is the Quiestest keyboard..
Razer support says.
We have Razer yellow mechanical switches are much quieter.
We have Razer yellow switch Blackwidow Chroma V2. Here is the link. https://www.razerzone.com/gaming-keyboards-keypads/razer-blackwidow-chroma-v2

i asked about what google said.
-It is as long as it's a yellow switch.
-The Razer yellow switches are a silent type keyboard.

i asked ok, and how about a Quiet clicking mouse?
For the mouse, it's all the same.
I mean, Razer mice has sound when clicking.
Here is the link for the list of Razer mice. https://www.razerzone.com/gaming-mice-and-mats
All Razer mice has sounds and all are the same.

I have a wal-mart ONN mouse wired, and a wal-mart HP wireless mouse that came with the laptop.
the ONN mouse is almost 3 times as loud when clicking.

So can anyone recommend the Most Quiet Mouse/keyboard?
Looking to spend less than $300

The different switch types have different noise levels. I think you should research the various switch types.

As for mice...you're again having to deal with switch types. Unfortunately there is not as much research to be found concerning mouse switches.

/e For keyboards, they sell O-rings, which will make any keyboard switch a lot quieter.

razers Yellow switches for keyboards are the most Quiet , but they add a rubber wrist rest thing, which i don't think i would personally like....
I did see there o-ring kit for sale.

My Question is if i should get a mechanical keyboard ( normally desktops have ) or a non mechanical keyboard ( what you normally see built into laptops )

idk if the extra height of the keys is what makes additional noise.

as for a mouse, im hoping razer mouses... would be as Quiet as the keyboard.. and a lot better than a 10$ mouse from wal-mart...

The noise comes from the key cap, bottoming out. That's why the O-Rings make any key switch, quiet.
Just get the O-Rings, pull off each keycap, put an O-ring around the keyswitch, replace the key cap.
