hi, in my search for a "decent" gaming computer i also looked at some sales on 9lives

i found this: (sry for dutch, but i guess u understand ...)

- Intel® Core i5-6600K, 3,5 GHz (3,9 GHz Turbo Boost) socket 1151 processor
- 16 gig Ram geheugen
- ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING motherboard
- MSI GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING X 6G, Grafische kaart
- 250 ssd samsung
- Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H110i, Waterkoeling
- Corsair CS750M, 750 Watt voeding
- Corsair SPEC-ALPHA, Tower-behuizing

+ LG LG 27 L 27MB35PH, 27" Monitor

total pack price: 1000€ + its a guy who lives in my town .. so no shipping needed, can just get it by car...

any advice on this ? is the price right ? can i manage to play some games for the next few years? no 4K obvious ..

Grts,

Tim

tim is fair price plain and simple

if you want to be easy as a bar slut or hooker go for it
but like with both make sure you are getting what you pay for
like test gpu and cpu
simple 3d mark will score it accordingly along with other tests but ill stick to 3dmark scores for now

So i do a 3Dbenchmark test on the computer ? what is a good free program for this?
if i get the numbers/results... how to compare them and see if the computer is in "good shape" ?

i checked the processor and graphic card at tweakers. They both get very good results for "newer" games at 1080p, if i would try to go 4k gaming it will only be possible for a bit older games or not on highest specs. but i honestly dont care about it since only a 1080p monitor is included. And dont want to pay additional money for a "better" monitor if i can't get full potentional from it :)

that rig is significant overkill for any of the games listed
but better too much than too little
