I have had this custom built PC by a friend for 3 years now. Recently, it has been rebooting itself randomly. I disabled "auto reboot" option and to show error (blue screen, or the friendly window 10 "blue screen"). So far, errors were not shown prior to random reboot. Some time, when I turn on my PC, it boots for around 2 seconds, and seemingly powering off and then on, looping for a while. It seems to be gathering "energy/battery" to boot up as I could hear the powerless kind of sound.

I googled online and found I could read the errors off the event log. Does it tell any tales? What should I do?

One thing I recall was this probably happened after I installed my new SSD a couple of months back. Could it be a short of power supply? How can I check if the power supply from my PSU is sufficient to support the hardware I have?

open case and read the sticker on the psu, thats pretty much the only way.
IF it started when you got the ssd it may very well be read error's which can throw all sorts of random error codes.

switch out psu if it doesn't help then try formating without the ssd to rule it out.
chances are its probably the psu though and I doubt adding an ssd would tip you over the psu's limit unless its an old prebuilt.
