I bought a few months ago an apu2 board from pcengine bought wifi adapter, 128gb SSD, antennas, etc. Setup pfsense and the whole bang took probably 2 weeks to get it all tweaked to close perfection as humanly possible.

I recently discovered pi-hole project

Think it would be reasonable to have a pi3 with pi-hole as dns server??

I got pfsense blocking almost all of them with some help of snort, and unlock origin add-on for vivaldi web browser.

Why would it need a OC? Also to be clear your talking about the pi3?

There's an x86/x64 port of PiHole...just drop it on a Linux server VM on an existing system.

Should be able to. Ubuntu server is a pretty lean install, if you aren't running a lot of other stuff.

Wait NVM I was misunderstood how pi-hole did it's thing. Shit I could run this on a vps :D

I might do that. Nfoserver for openvpn, socks5, music bot teamspeak and discord, and now it will also be used as a DNS server :D

Edit: NVM centos 6 too old QQ

I might just get a pi3. Atless it's a one time payment instead of another vps lol
