We don't struggle to find it, we just get a hidden 20-50% go fuck yourself inflation tax cause fuck canucks.

Here's a prime example...
HD6xx's from massdrop 200$ USD or 599$ CAD from amazon.

https://www.amazon.ca/Sennheiser-HD-650-Headphones/dp/B00018MSNI

As of today 200$ USD = 254 CAD roughly.

This happens with a LOT of tech unfortunately.
Hell even a few years back when CAD was higher then USD I was still paying more for shit.

can you exchange your CAD to USD first then? Or does the inflation kick in when it realizes where it's shipping to

The inflation is generally worked into the price of the Canadian store.
Very few update when they realize your canadian they just take your USD or simply don't ship to you at all.
The boarder adds its customs tax after which its still cheaper then canadian sites generally.

https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAEF56M06242&cm_re=samsung_evo-_-20-147-441-_-Product
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAEF56M06242&cm_re=samsung_evo-_-20-147-441-_-Product

673 USD = CAD 856.16
So for that item there's 40$ mark up for no reason other then marketing looks.

https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824011127

207 USD = 263 CAD not 536.75
So for a product like this monitor its cheaper to have a friends buy it and mail me it then just buying it.

Is it after skipping to almost the Arctic plus customs and sales tax?

Amazon is free even if I'm in the Arctic circle
