Snap shot of my SSD, trying to clear some space. Does anyone know what those long string file folders are for or if I can safely get rid of them?

no idea what that could be, any files in the folders? seems shady.. those should not be there imo

Those files are temp files usually from installers/updates for windows..
They are harmless, if you notice the names are actually hexidecimal, a-f and 0-9.

Lol at everyone who didn't know what they were.
@op you can just delete em or leave em.

Opening them and looking inside would probably help. I would guess they might have to do with major Win 10 updates...but I'm just guessing, because they all have 2016-2017 dates.

They could be a lot of things though. It's not like we could even google the folder names, they are probably different from Win 10 install to Win 10 install.

why do u guys prefer win 7 over win 10? i like win 10 alot better i must say

Windows 7 is the best interface and functionality imo
just the feel i guess for me idk

Yoiur C: drive looks so clean because you don't have the Options set to SHOW everything.
