Is it possible VMWare to use the Host video card instead of it default sh*t VMWare SVGA II ??
My Host PC is windows 7 Ultimate which uses Inted HD Graphics 4400
The guest (Virtual machine) is using windiws XP SP3 x86
I also enabled 3d accelerator on.the VM but my games still lag spikes and drop to low fps which makes them unplayable , retro games like ( Red alert 2 , CS 1.6, Return to the castke wolfenstein , ect..)
Every other action on the virtual machine works.super fast and smooth only the games FPS drops and cant play well :(

Yes, it is possible to do GPU passthrough. I've only done it from Linux host to Windows 10 and from Linux to Linux, so I'm not going to give you any in-depth advice.

What are your computer specs? You'll need a motherboard and a CPU which support VT-D or AMD's counterpart.

You will find lots of guides and walkthroughs by googling "Windows GPU passthrough".

Edit: Wait, you're using your integrated GPU for gaming? If so, you can't use passthrough for that. You'll need a PCIe GPU + another GPU (dedicated or integrated, doesn't matter) for GPU passthrough.

Well i really dont know what all that things you explained means but i got only 1 Graphic card on my Host PC which is intel HD graphics 4400
The other parameters are
OS Win 7 x64
Core i3-4160 CPU 3.60GHz
RAM 12 GB

Just need as u said to passthrough that Inter HD Graphics 4400 to the VMware guest.user.so it can use it instead of The default SVGA II

Actually, what I said is at least partially incorrect. It is possible to passthrough an Intel iGPU nowadays with some specific requirements.

You'll need to use ESXi (unless you're able to find other working solution; some were trying Proxmox). Since Win7 is supported by VMWare, ESXi should be, too.

That's a start. You'll need an eager mind, patience and most likely lots of troubleshooting.

Are those ESX and Proxmox some sort of programs which are helping the passthrough?

Proxmox is a Linux distro with built-in virtualization tools.

ESXi is a module/tool of VMWare Workstation or something like that. Never used, never cared.

I use neither to virtualize my Win10 with GPU passthrough. Passing through an iGPU is a fairly new thing and was not really available when I started building my setup. After my first post I just became curious whether anything had changed since I put my system up.

Since I realized there was a working solution, I came back to adjust my answer.

Now, if you wish to really pass the iGPU, you'll need to do your research. Your CPU doesn't support VT-D. Unless something has changed with the requirements, that means passthrough is impossible. You'll need to find out the requirements for iGPU passthrough with ESXi and whether you meet them.

Just to clarify, you don't actually have dedicated graphics card. It's integrated into your CPU and it's shitty.
