
Getting this error every time I close D2.
What I have done so far:
- Performed system scan run by CMD (admin) + sfc /scannow.
- Performed several antivirus/antimalware scans (Malwarebyte, Kaspersky eand others).
- Cleaned the whole system with CCleaner + fixed all registry keys.
- Reinstalled a clean version of D2.
- I never, ever used any third party program, if you are wondering.
What doesn't work:
- When performing "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" I encounter error:87 so there must be a damaged file somewhere. I'm thinking to perform a local cleanup but I don't know if I can perform it with the installation DVD.
- Happens with D2 only. Running Win 7 Professional. Performed a format + fresh installation ~2 months ago.
- Already consulted most of Microsoft threads where this issue is discussed.
