So I bought a new Asus RX550 and when I install it into my computer, my computer will no longer post. I get no signal on my monitor, nor do I get power to my keyboard or mouse.
Now the thing about this card is that it requires no external power - it gets all of it's power through the PCI-E slot. I have a GA-B75M-DH3 motherboard.

For what it's worth, the integrated on-board graphics will work when the GPU is removed. I also have a 660TI which I tested and the computer will post with it(replacing this because giving to a friend).

Why do you think it won't POST with the RX550?

Try reseating the vid card. Make sure that you didn't tighten the RX 550's screw so tight, that it makes the front of the vid card raise up from the PCI-E slot.
Make sure you didn't bump the RAM. Reseat it.

You are going from an Nvidia card to an AMD card. Did you uninstall the Nvidia driver?

DDU Instructions - Nvidia/AMD
1. Get this program, here: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/ ...get the latest versionh, and save it to your desktop.
2. Get your vid card driver here, use the Manual Search: AMD: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download ...save this to your desktop.
3. Run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) choose: Nvidia or AMD, then choose the "Highly Recommend Option", and just do what it tells you. If it wants to go into "Safe Mode", let it.
4. After it's done and comp has rebooted to normal mode, shut the computer off and physically install the RX 550.
5. Then, just double click the Nvidia or AMD driver ( that you saved to your desktop in step #2) ...to install. If it want's to reboot, let it.

Wouldn't be the driver if he gets no post at all.

The even sketchier part is that it wasn't even in their BIOS release notes.

you might have just defaulted something on the bios to get it to work

I know some motherboards need to be told pcie primary and/or gen3
