Im not pro at all of overclocking

How come it wont lock out at 4.2? It bounces from 1.5-4.2 based on load, speedstep is off as well. It use to lockout before i reformated

All of those turbo setting should be turned off

You want your clock speed to be 4.2 or the multiplier to be set to whatever gets you to 4.2

Turbo is not used at all when ocing

it wont let me turn off intel turbo boost

like i said im new to O/Cing i found out years ago this was a easy way to get a steady 4.2gs but it seemed to stop working when i reformated
