Roommate bought a Logitech MX400 open box from BestBuy in 2004, then bought a "gaming mouse" a month or two latter I've been using it since.
A few laptops latter it is finally starting to wear out.

Just wanted another highly fucntional WIRED mouse that too will last forever with a couple programmable buttons.
Needs to look professional can't have as many buttons as my keyboard, gamer graphics, or look like a Transformer.
Any advise on a replacement? Thanks!

Logitech G403/G703

Right handed people with your right handed mice.

Sucks being left handed in a right handed world.

Aren't those wireless?

The G403 is wired the G703 is not. I would have to open it up and rip out the goofy RGB light.

Idk how much you're willing to spend or how good of a mouse you want but the Logitech M500 is like $18.

I have the Logitech G400s which is great and looks understated and it's like $55 now. It's been replaced by the new Logitech G series gaming mice, most of which look like Transformers. A few of them look professional enough, though: https://www.logitechg.com/en-us/gaming-mice like the aforementioned G403/G703.

right handed yes.

friend cleaned the contacts on the usb plug which seems to have fixed mine for now.

still going to get one for when this one does fail.

people seem to really like the g502 and it looks tolerable if i can turn off the lites in the settings
