Somehow this site has the combo for a good price, almost too good to be true.

I have only ever ordered from newegg and Amazon. Unsure about breaking my norm considering every where else the motherboard is around 90+- on its own

I'm a novice at this. It will be my first build. I didn't know micro atx was a performance difference from the other sizes

It's not, it's a small form factor and may be missing a few feature of the normal atx. Ie a few less USB or sata ports

Well from what I have seen of it, I may have to do some modifications (I don't want to) for the gfx card to fit

that comes down to the case not the mobo

worst case scenario for mobo is you block some pci slots if it's a big enough gpu and small enough mobo but it will still fit

you should have enough slots for a dual slot card so the only other concern is some of the drive bays being in the way because of length
you can cut away those parts of the case with a reciprocating saw easily and without any real downsides except having less expansion slots for extra drives.

though i also ran into an issue with not being able to close the side of a case with the pcie power connectors in the gpu, not sure what the solution is there besides cutting a hole in the door. You're not likely to encounter this problem.

If it's that much cheaper just get it, it will be fine

The combo here on this site saves about 40ish
