top one is my broken ram

bottom one the replacement i got

it ofc doesnt fit but wtf is it? older or newer ram? did i make plus or minus on this one? should i return it to the shop or sell it as it is a newer an better one?

Just a guess, but I would think the bottom is DDR3. No other reason than the top one says PC4 and the bottom says PC3L



/e I just looked at some laptop RAM on Newegg. The PC4 designates DDR4 RAM, and the PC3L designates DDR3 RAM. Crucial, for one, uses the PCx designator in their model numbers.
So does Patriot and Kingston.

I don't know where you purchased that, but I would find a better etailer.

big german dealer called alternate. they mixed up 2 orders but before i return mine to get my item i thought id ask if the mixed up part was better ^^
