Device Runs with two columns, each containing 3 AA Batteries. So 6 Total.
Pretty much similar to the photo below. Its just tedious swapping out batteries all the time.

You'd need a 4.5v DC adapter. The amount of mA needed you'd have to either pull from the spec listing of the product, Or hook up a multimeter to figure out how much it draws.
