i shot a real beauty from the peddlers market. its a 2015 macbook pro which is completely bent at its back. you can not open it as the bent parts block the mechanism. i could lift the lid up like 3-4cm and check that it can be turned on. it starts and works.

possibility 1: use it as a desktop with external monitor and keyboard etc

possibility 2: unbend the back so i can open it

i paid 150€. take the risk or use as desktop?

You'll likely cause more damage trying to straighten it. Use it as a desktop.

Most likely you will damage it while trying to bent it back. There is a change you could fix it but then again there is risk it will be mess.

it's a crapbook, worth the risk to maybe get some function out of it beyond being a terrible price/perf desktop

Open it up, remove all parts, mobo etc and then unbend. Worst case you'll damage screen (that may already be damaged)

You'll have to disassemble and bend back parts individually
Then hope you can screw everything back together

I wouldnt do it.

To me, it looks like it was left in the back seat of a car over a weekend. Probably doesn't work right
