id at least wait for winter to pass and see what's up, the 965 BE with a decent overclock makes for a decent facsimile of a space heater in my experience. So you can save at least a little bit of money on heating as it will help you hit your target room temps sooner.
That was one of the things I missed most after switching to Haswell from my own 965 BE.

Comes down to one simple question: what are you doing? For me I was playing CoC builds on PoE on the chip was struggling hard not to freeze up constantly even at 4ghz so I needed an upgrade. Even though back then CoC lagged on everything from c2d to i7-4770k@4.8ghz, it still helped a lot. If it hadn't been for CoC, I would have sat on that chip to this day.
If the old Deneb chip's performance is still adequate for your uses don't upgrade just for the sake of it, the current state of the pc market is absolutely abysmal.
