Just ordered one of these, do I just need a standard 1 in 2 out hdmi splitter to be able to use both this and a monitor without messing around switching cables? Or is there a better option?

Plus both cables to the GPU. If you only have 1 HDMI port available just buy an displayport to HDMI adapter.

Well I'm going to be running 3 monitors and have 2 hdmi and 1 displayport I think. So no spares available :/

Display port can be daisychained depends on total res and refreshrate i believe
