Hey guys,
So I recently did a build for a guy and he gave me two hard drives to include.
Both 2 TB Hitachi.

Well for some reason both make this same exact noise and I can't get them read in windows.
The noise is constant and happens shortly after powering up.
Here's a video of the noise

Now they appear broken but since both are doing the same thing and they appeared new, I'm just questioning it a little before I reach out to guy.
Are they broken or have I run into some weird new problem that I've never dealt with before after installing my 237th hard drive?

Sounds very, very much like a broken HDD.

I ran HD sentinel and crystal with no good results.
Eventually one of the drives does stop making the noise and becomes visible in windows, but its inaccessible when formatting in mbr and not compatible when gpt so I'm gonna deliver the bad news.
Thanks for the confirm guys. <3
