I've been trying to upload footage of myself playing Hearthstone onto Twitch and it ends up being extremely laggy. My internet connection I believe is good (57mbs download and 10 upload). I have tried minimizing settings (bitrate, resolution, fps), but it still lags.

I'm starting to think the issue is with my computer, although it is an almost brand new Dell Laptop. Here is some info:

5th Generation Intel® CoreTM i5-5200U Processor (3M Cache, up to 2.70 GHz)
8GB Single Channel DDR3 1600MHz (8GBx1), Intel® HD Graphics 5500
1TB 5400 rpm SATA Hard Drive, Tray load DVD Drive (Reads and Writes to DVD/CD)


I dont have any other programs going while im trying to stream in order to minimize CPU usage.

Any thoughts or ideas would be helpful. Thanks.

while streaming check your task manager for cpu usage, maxing thats your problem.

2nd are you downscaling it to like 720p??

also do note your on a labtop, so hotter it gets your CPU clock speeds will probably be reduced, make sure to get some cooling for it.
