1. Regarding SSD's, with the NVME drive coming to closer price ranges with SATA drives (the 960 evo is like $10 more than the 850), is it worth it to pay a little more for the NVME drive, or will the difference not be noticable? My primary use would be for gaming, and secondary for homework (combination of Comp Science and Construction Management).

2. Regarding Motherboards, How big of a difference does the quality of a motherboard play in to both the lifespan of the motherboard, and it's ability to overclock? I'm not talking about chipset versions, but different tiers of motherboards from the same manufacturer on the same chipset (for example, ASUS Prime vs Strix on B350).

3. Regarding cases, What are generally the biggest factors that affect how well a given case will cool in terms of case flow (not how big of a rad it can fit). PSU Shroud, lack of drive cages in the front, etc?

1. it would not be a noticeable improvement in performance, no, only noticeably more heat. 960 and 850 random performance and access times, which are what matters most for 99.5% of consumers, are very similar. Nvme only stomps sata in sequential speed, which is only important for some heavy server/workstation workloads and enterprise use cases. 500-600mb/s is still pretty darn fast. Bottom line is, you won't perceive a difference.

2. depends, look up reviews on individual motherboards... I don't believe quality is consistent across all models/sockets of a particular line

3. idk still using the same case with haswell that i used with pentium 4, core 2 duo, and phenom. no issues temp-wise, only prob is the front facing usb ports are unusable because wrong revision.

1) -- wrong, ssds don't have any effect on performance compared to hard drives nowadays because Intel now glues their disks and uses toothpaste for the ram. AMD technology confirmed

2), all mobos are the same, yupitsmeh told me ASRock is the only company that can offer bclking so.. overclocking is a must..so therefore ASRock boards are of highest quality

3), haswell cpus are not as good as sandy bridge, the i7 2600k is a beast and will be for a whilee. these fit in all cases
