https://pcpartpicker.com/product/769KHx/pny-internal-hard-drive-ssd9sc120gmdfrb

this is the SSD i bought couple years back. it has actually never been impressive but being my first SSD ever i didn't even know what to expect. Later I read that SSDs are supposed to be really good and mine has not impressed at all. As a reference, my HDD is faster than SSD lol.

After my computer crashed last week, I decided to just re install windows on my HDD instead and computer is actually now working fine. SSD is completely empty now using quick format (that's what google suggested). Now looking for possible fixes, my TRIM is enabled. Gonna try the other fix for AHCI but I'm very doubtful at this point. Any help? ty

What OS are you using. Windows 7/8 had some Issues using trim unless you specifically enabled it.

Well like I said the Sanforce controller is infamously bad, TRIM doesn't even function on some firmware versions.

what's your platform?

Rerun test
