i have 2 questions currently for this item.
i have purchased this for a build of my own. a friend of mine is building a rig and i mentioned it.

i've been looking around at pricing in different available spots and determined a price of $250. for new it appears to me to be on the cheap side, but i anticipate next cyber monday.
i am not positive if he will use liquid-cooling like i plan to. i'm not sure how heavy, but he plans to get into some video editing and gaming.

1. is this pricing fair to both parties, keeping in mind i might buy this same skylake model again soonish?
2. will air cooling be enough for this cpu and his use?

2. Yes, air cooling, even stock is fine. If he's overclocking he is going to need a decent aftermarket cooler, air or water.

I have this processesor on air cooler. And it gets pretty hot on abnormal basis. Pretty sure 6700k is known to run hot. I'd recommend AIO liquid cooler and for sure if overclocking it

to clarify, i doubt he's going to need to overclock the cpu. i know he wouldn't use a stock cooler. i am just not positive he's going to use liquid.
