Just sold my ps4 pro to buy a GFX card for my PC. I will be on a 1440p setup.what is my best bet for around 500?

GTX 1070 or GTX 1080

If you can't wait.....1070 and then upgrade next year.

Isn't that will be out of budget? Does Volta will be that much better than the gtz1070? By that time the 1070 will probably cost half less I think

Cards like the 1070 don't depreciate to half the value, they simply just stop producing them.

Buy some used 980 tis and sli them.

Well, If I buy the GTX 1070 will cost me like 700$ CAD today tx in. The Volta will probably cost me 1200$ CAD tx in (speculation). It's a 500$ price difference. Does the Volta will be 500$ much better? Especially if I don't play to go 4k.

By the way, thank you for your time, your feedback is quite valuable.

Could be just rebrands on these cards and true Volta saved for something else
