If I wanted to game at 3440x1440p on maxed settings and stream at 1080p/60fps at the same thing what kind of CPU/GPU power would I require?

Gigabyte internet, 800+ down / 100 up

Battlefield 1, battlefront 2(coming soon) Destiny 2(coming soon) pubg , those should be the most taxing of what I play

Well your gpu should be a 1080ti or 1080 if you don't mind being unable to max all titles otherwise you'll need an sli setup.
As for cpu either intels new i7's or 1700-1800x amd cpu.

I was looking into the 7820x aswell as EVGAs 1080 TI ftw3 hybrid

Should a single TI do the trick? I would SLI but I'm shying away as most new DX12 games don't play nice with SLI anymore

Since you're not really pushing something like the 7820x to its limit by simply streaming 4k games in 1080p it should be fine, despite x399 being a house fire. You won't be able to reach absolute stability i.e under the most stressful workloads you can feed it unless you really mind your voltages but that's only the kind of thing that would concern an idiot like me.

I appreciate the quick answers!

I guess I'm complicating things by adding that I'd like to hit around 100 frames on my end due to my monitor being 100hz, looking at benchmarks a single 1080 TI should be close if not already there, but while streaming will that tax the GPU?

streaming adds stress to the cpu.

Some mods might give you issues though like battlefronts hd mods is really stressful.
least last time i ran it.

Word, sounds like 7820x/1080ti for now

Planning on pulling the trigger on this rig soon... waiting on the Asus Rampage VI extreme, prob 1 week or so till it's around

First full high end rig since 2012
