Just wondering the best way to setup my fan speed in the bios, there are 4 set points based on temp / % RPM
Right now its on default setting, but I want to OC(my next step)

I have one SP120 on the outside of my H60, and one SP120 on the top for exhaust.
I have two AF120's on the front for intake.

Personally, I would run them all at 100% while overclocking.
Once the overclock is finished and tests stable...THEN worry about setting your fan curves.

No one can "predict" how much cooling you will need, before the overclock.

So fans are on 100% for now.

I can only get the OC to 4100 which is a preset..I turn on OC Genie(Via BIOS) and it goes to 4100.
CPU Ratio is blacked out I can't change it.. I have it on expert/advanced..
MSI Click BIOS 5 .. trying to figure out how to update/flash the BIOS to a newer version.

Not sure what to do <_< I want it at like 4400

I'm too lazy to mess with fan curves, I just leave mine at 25%

Iirc the OC Genie has a couple preset overclocks. This is probably what is preventing you from changing the CPU Ratio.

/e For help with BIOS settings we would need to know the exact make and model of the motherboard. Would also help to know which CPU you have.

Ok...if you decide to use the OC Genie, you will get four pre configured OC settings. That will pretty much be all.

If you want to really overclock, it will need to be done like this...

In your BIOS, turn off the OC Genie
The go to the OC section and choose: OC Explore Mode [Normal] <----- change this to Expert and it will give you ALL the BIOS settings, that you can use to overclock.

Mainly you will then overclock by adjusting the CPU freq, and the CPU Ratio.

But since it's an Intel you'll need an Intel user to go further...or a guide.

/e

OC GENIE 4 toggle - click on it to toggle the OC GENIE 4 function which can
automatically overclock the CPU with MSI optimized setting.

Important
Please don’t make any changes in OC menu and don’t load defaults to keep the
optimal performance and system stability after enabling the OC GENIE 4 function.

If you want to manually overclock then OC Genie must be turned off.

Ok, I turned OC Genie off, I thought I could click and enter a number to adjust CPU ratio but I have to use + / - and it worked.

For voltage, there is a few different ''CPU Voltage" listed, I have it on auto right now, not sure which to adjust?
