I have a brand new laptop (acer helios 300) and my old 2009 computer with a radeon rx480 that currently uses a lg flatron w2453w monitor.

Is it possible for my desktop to use the laptop as a monitor, while the laptop is running and using the lg monitor for its own display?

I am trying to see if it's possible to avoid having to buy a second monitor.

I can still use the laptop and have the laptop run on the lg monitor even though its own screen is being used by the desktop?

I would just look for used screen from craiglist or something for 20$.
