I have the following:
Comcast blast internet (200+mbs)
LINKSYS WRT3200ACM
ARRIS SURFboard SB6183 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem

I recently had to move my computer and would rather not run an ethernet cable.

Wired connection is about 225. Right now the router is 20 feet away across the room, same level, no walls or anything.

TRying to avoid snaking wires through walls and ceilings, as I'm not positive this is where the router will stay.

Yes, but I'm not going to have a long ass cable laying on the ground across the room. I would have to run it up one wall, across the ceiling and down into the other wall.
