Seems like ncix goin broke boyz, bout time.
Heard their employees haven't been paid and lots of phantom stocks.
Used to be gg, but they've been pretty damn bad the past year for me in the bc area.
Use em points and gc if u have any when they do some clearing.
The employees are rude at all NCIX locations I've been to in BC. I'd be glad to see NCIX go under, if only a new company rose up that has some idea of proper customer service & hires people who aren't totally inept.
Returned a faulty power supply once: "This is the last time I'll let you do this." <-- employee who took a squealing power supply back. It was also the first time I'd returned a part, ever. Burnaby location.
Returned a faulty laptop once, filmed it being faulty, told them it acts up sometimes and it's hard to reproduce. It would go 30 minutes not working, and 30 minutes working (trackpad). It was 1 day after I bought it. Showed them the film of it not working. They said "If you can't reproduce the issue in front of us in store, we won't take it back." So I held up their customer line for 15 minutes and they took it back. Langley location.
Went in with my older brother to pick up a new $2000 desktop setup he purchased. He wasn't e-mailed a pickup number. They wouldn't give him the parts even when he showed his ID and the Visa card he made the payment with. They told him to go home and check for the pickup number on his email. They actually told my brother "You need to read our pickup policy, you can't just come and get your parts whenever you want." I held up their line yet again and told them we weren't putting up with that shit, again, 5 minutes later, they gave him his computer parts. The reason why he didn't get a pickup number: They didn't have the RAM he ordered in stock (no notification that the RAM that was "in stock" at the date of order wasn't actually in stock), but everything else was ready at location. Apparently the RAM was on a 4+ week back order from the date we picked up, and he already had waited 3 weeks. Langley location.
