Buddy is getting a lot of stuff for his computer such as the ability to plug in his guitar and working with fruity loops etc and honestly I've never looked into audio or cared enough to deep dive into research. Anyone got some advice on what the best sound card would be for this guy?

He has the asus strix z270f motherboard

He'll want a interface or a mixer, not a soundcard.

I think he's saying this because I do own a pair of razer headphones but if he actually read my original post he would see that all this audio stuff is for my friend and his purposes.
