If you've not noticed by now I am very indecisive of what to do. I am by no means any good at knowing what is the best parts or prices for my new build. I do want to build a new computer but on the other hand I want to buy a prebuilt one.

I will give 200fg to someone who has a vast amount of knowledge to answer a few questions every other day until I finish my build. An extra 300fg once I have completed the build or purchased a prebuilt that you think is a decent deal.

dude honestly its not the best time to build a new pc. mostly because mining software are hitting a high again with ether, thus completely forking up the gpu market. everything is 50$ over priced.
with that being said. 7700k and 6700k are the same price 98.7% of the time. and ryzen 1800x is awesome but marketed more twords higher theread users. (games/streaming/uploading/rendering) blah blah blah. and 100+ $ more than the 7700k. and "competes"
so unless you want to branch into the new uselss x299 system that will lock you into the biggest joke of the decade so far and loose 1000$ on a bunkly programmed chip.
so the intel chips are a touch more wallet and system friendly but the price point is FORKED. so basically their taking this mining craze ranking up prices and all at the same time making specific lines just for this. (in the next gen lines)
if you have a decent rig and can stay happy for another year till this hardware maze gets straightened out id definitely do that.

( i decided this last week, after wanting to upgrade from my ancient fx8350.) but hey why spend $1500+ on a rig that is probably going to have similar results on similar titles. like while playing bf1 i can play just fine, but people with 7700ks and 1080tis are getting screen tearing and frame drops, because of certain performance issues.... now my frames and drawing distances may not be as dope as theirs. but my kill/death ratio is
