I was talking to some rep from some website and he was telling me their computers have a lifetime part and labor warranty...

I can't remember which website it was but it feels like that is a bit of a lie / scam. Anyone know of any really good custom build websites that aren't super overpriced compared to building your own? Or if the "lifetime warranty" is actually real?

I can't find any time to build my own so I am thinking about buying a custom built. Any suggestions?

theres sites that will assemble it for an extra 50$
there's no such thing as a lifetime warranty except for ram in which case its valid for 1 replacement usually.
You don't have 2 hours to assemble it? I find that hard to believe.

well 4-5 posts a day works out to just a few minutes a day on jsp. he'd have to take quite a vacation from this site.

I raid two nights a week on a WoW private server and that's about all I do on my computer. Whenever I may get a new job I will have more free time. I work 6 days a week right now and just bought a new house. Got a puppy as well, so my hands are pretty tied. To add on top of all of that I am a newlywed as well. My whole reason for wanting a new PC is to give my wife this one and then possibly get more time to game if she will game with me. :)

Negative nancy, I don't care paying 50 bucks to save my time. It's literally like 45 mins of overtime. I get a hell of a lot of overtime too!

Soon we will be renovating parts of the house and finishing the basement, so I don't see too much time to do it in the future either. :(

Anywho, I need a decent legitmitate website to buy from!

The lifetime warranty felt too good, so I'll probably stay away from that website. When it's too good to be true it normally is!

well your instinct is correct the warranty policy is a crock of shit.
I didn't say you did care I merely stated that you do have time if you want to make time.
I mean lets be honest even with all that shit you could still do it if you wanted, I mean how long is a raid anyways?

plus your going to spend at least 2 hours setting up the os/programs so you'll have to either way.

There's a company here in UT/NV that advertises lifetime warranty on 100% of components, been broadcasting on TV lately too.
