anyone have any experience with this, what have y'all got without crashing?

i'm content with -.1v but could stand to push it some more.

First off, it's not really a good idea to mess with laptop CPUs. They tend to work better, when left alone.

That said, as long as it still passes a stress test, w/o bluescreening, you should be fine.

on what grounds are you making this statement bc if this was true the same would be said about desktop cpus

As for laptops vs. desktops...

A laptop fits in a little case...it has much more stringent reqs.

Think of any laptop that doesn't cost $2500 as "already tuned up, as good as they could get it".

When you start messing around in the BIOS of a laptop...99% of the time all you do is make it unstable.

Is that clear enough for you?


/e You want to mess around in the BIOS, do it on a desktop.
