Have a ssd with an activated version of Windows 10. New build needs a Windows 10 key, can I get it off the old drive? If so, how?

If your replacing the hard drive clone it and your fine.
If your asking if you can move a old HD to a new pc then no you need to fresh install in which case...
Your key will work if its a retail key if its an OEM or from the upgrade you will need a new key.

Sometimes they work with win 10. I did it 3 times going from an ASRock to different Asus boards.

Obv fresh installed after that tho. Just wanted the key for the mobo
