So, I have a 40" tv as a monitor for my desktop atm, and was wondering if there is a major different between:

and

I am more of a graphic designer than an actual gamer, and i heard that monitor can 'overclock' to 75 hz. (not that it's a big issue)

Just looking for outside opinions since i'm not that smartest at this stuff.

my budget is like $200

if i had the money id just go buy the best monitor i could get, but I can't.

simply asking if the upgrade or downgrade is worth it and if its a major difference.

The desktop on any monitor will be far better than on any TV.

Games, grfx etc., all look better on a monitor.

And Secksii is right...get Dell Ultrasharp.

If you have somewhat decent credit, you can pay monthly.

Check the specs and the full specs on Dell's website though. Look for 1.07 billion colors, if you're serious about grfx work.

If you just want good colors for less than $200, any IPS will be fine.

My buddy has that LG and it's quite small. Look for like 29" for a 1080p ultrawide.

one of the biggest differences between a TV and computer monitor, is that the TV will almost always have more input lag.

some newer 4k TVs have shitty input lag and it can be noticeable even when scrolling with a mouse. then again alot of the newer TVs have a setting for "game mode" which can greatly reduce the input lag.

i am not sure of the input lag on that hisense though. but on a newer model of that hisense, the input lag has been tested to be between around 30 to 50 ms. but thats a completely different TV. And well that input lag is still quite a bit higher than almost any computer monitor.

if you want to buy me it and pay monthly go for it, it seems every time i come onto this sub forum and i have a budget people say "fuck your budget get this"

I would. I DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY.

and even if i had the money, no way in hell am i paying damn near $600 for a monitor.
